Multi-media journalist

My journalism career began in local newspapers, where I learned the pace, discipline, and attention to detail at the heart of good reporting.

Working for a leading regional newspaper meant covering a wide range of stories, managing fast-moving daily tasks, and meeting constant deadlines for both print editions and online news platforms.

That experience helped me build strong community connections and lasting professional relationships that continue to shape my work today.

Alongside news articles and features, I have written court reports for both regional and national publications.

I later broadened my skills through an unexpected move into radio, developing a new confidence in broadcast journalism.

In addition to writing and presenting news bulletins for two sister stations, I produced engaging interview packages across news, arts, and sport.

As an experienced journalist, I continue to work across the media landscape and can provide flexible, reliable support to editorial teams when they need an extra pair of skilled hands.
